What we learned this issue besides that genejokes need to understand that when magistrates command, genejokes obey!
Depowered Wolverine and Rogue but with the mind of the former Ms Marvel Carol Danvers (long story) are running around the fictional island nation of Genosha and just pounding nerds left and right. 'Hey Genoshan nerds!' Wolverine would yell, 'Whats the square root of I'm going to fucking kill you, nerd!'
It's OK though because the Genoshan magistrates are racists against mutants and they call them genejokes. THATS LIKE THE N WORD FOR MUTANTS. Where is the love, Genoshans? INCREASE THE PEACE.
Those assholes Genoshans are also sticking mutants on a "Mutie Train" and sending them to the Genegineer, as asshole of such massive proportions that he wants to the take mutant lover of his teenage son and lobotomize her and turn her into a coal mining slave. That's dicked up, is what AJ Soprano would say.
But that teenage mutant, the comely Jenny Ransome, flips out and kills a whole room of scientists (its OK they were RAYCESS against mutants). And the rest of the X-Pals show up in Genosha and they fuck up some raycess Genoshan soldiers. But they don't meet up with Rogue and Wolveroonie. That'll happen next issue, when Wolviepoo promises to "BRING THIS FLAMIN COUNTRY DOWN!"

Rick Leonardi is back on pencils and he still rocks. Though this time its with another hall of fame inker, Terry Austin. The results are good but I think I prefer P. Craig Russell. Solid issue over all, even if some of the symbolism is laid on pretty think. Like ven zey send zee mootints on zee train too Aushvitz. But hey, that's fuckin comics bro. Deall with it.
